A Sacred Awakening
Your Path to Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
Journeys
When you book your journey you are booked in for 3 different sessions. Below is a brief description of what you can expect from each session.
Preparation: During this session we we collaboratively build a framework for navigating the psychedelic experience utilizing various tools, ideas, and concepts drawn from various therapeutic modalities, as well as what has been learned from traditional and historic practices involving the use of psychedelic medicines for healing purposes. Preparation is really building the foundation for the psychedelic experience and for the ongoing “life work” of post-psychedelic integration.
Psychedelic Journey: A medicine journey is meant to provide you the space to process psychological and somatic material, along with an avenue for you to gain insights and awareness’s you are seeking. It lowers your defenses and allows information into conscious awareness. During the psychedelic experience, defenses and barriers are lifted and the inner-healing intelligence “takes the wheel”. Each medicine journey is different and each person’s experience will be different. The psychedelic experience is like water and music is the vessel, so a specific playlist is integral to the experience. People tend to say, “you will get what you need and not necessarily what you may want.” It is normal to feel mental fogginess and a headache afterwards because the medicine can last in your system for a few hours after your journey. You will not be able to drive or operate any motor vehicles or machinery after your session, or until you do not feel fogginess, dizziness, or imbalance, whichever is longer.
Integration: The psychedelic journey truly begins after the medicine session. Most people think of the psychedelic as the most important part of their healing process but it is only the catalyst. It is the intentional actions and self-reflections in the days, weeks, months, and years following the medicine experience that really matters. It is how we integrate the past into our present that leads to lasting change and personal transformation.
I am also able to offer Hapé as a support to you at the beginning, through out, or at the end of your journey experience. This is beautiful practice to help ground or deepen your experience.
